This is a very small oil that I did in trying to continue to work on "getting clouds." As usual, I find that the more elusive something is, the more difficult to convey through painting. Trying for Heaven in the Clouds
This is a very small oil that I did in trying to continue to work on "getting clouds." As usual, I find that the more elusive something is, the more difficult to convey through painting. I am reasonably happy about how things turned out here: I wish that it were larger, although...who wants a small piece of sky?

Laura, I just love this sky. Such rich colors. As we were riding down Rte.17 the other day, I told my husband, "if I were to paint this sky the way God painted it, no one would believe the colors."
