Cinque Terra View

This oil is from a photo that I took from our room in Monterosso in Cinque Terra. I have tons of photos from all over Europe to paint or draw from the many years that we lived there. The colors are somewhat subdued as I wanted a plainer palette to hold all of the elements together. This time of year would be the perfect time to be back there. I could eat the fresh basil pesto and fresh caught sardines with lemons everyday!
