Running Out of Time

No picture or artwork this time. Just some things floating around in my head, spinning and finally, finally out on this page.
So many things I want to paint, things to draw, ideas to be developed and it seems not enough time to do it all. Oh, the years I wasted working on other things with art taking the big back seat. Now that I can devote myself to this pursuit, it seems all encompassing and exponentially exploding. As I may have written, the more I paint, the better I get; the better I get, the more I paint-round and round I go.
I have a couple of shows coming up and trying to figure out what would be best to frame, what will sell, what still needs to be done...is just overwhelming at times. In the meanwhile, other things pull you away; aging parents, busy kids, falling leaves, dust bunnies under the bed, smelling the roses.
It is good to be busy though...too much time on your hands usually means that nothing gets done because manana is always around the corner.
So, one final thing for today:

"Between
the idea
and the reality;
Between
the motion
and the act.
Falls
the shadow."
T.S. Eliot
