All Dressed up and Nowhere to Go Oil Painting

Sheila, who often models for our drawing class, posed before Christmas for the class without these goofy red boots on. Actually, I had wanted to put some red cowboy boots on after the fact, but didn't have a clue as to how to draw them as I have never owned a pair. Somehow, these red boots morphed into goofy rain boots which grew on me. This makes me smile and although the picture here is much darker than the original, I like her boredom and the whole boot thing. Sheila is a hoot in her boots.
