We have had some unusually cold weather lately. Snow, ice, wind and sleet have all gathered to conspire against any hope of getting out to walk or run errands. Today the wind is howling outside and I have decided to stay home and cancel my class with Kenny and play catch up. I have posted this large (30x40) oil painting of green mums I finished shortly before Christmas. I hope to convince myself that spring isn't really that far away and before long, things will be bursting with color and I can put away my scarf and gloves. Also, I have sold 4 paintings at the Nansemond show and for this, I am grateful.

Longing for Spring
