Painting at Angry Adam's for March First Friday

On Friday, March 5th, I will be painting at Angry Adam's on High Street in Portsmouth for First Friday. Sarah and Leslie will be there as well and we hope to have a good time painting right there on the spot and then have some competitive fun with bids for the paintings. Angry Adam's is a lovely little wine shop just a couple of doors down from Olde Towne Art and they have a terrific selection of wines that you won't find at your local grocery store. They are generous with their wine tastings and the company that finds their way there on First Fridays is interesting and friendly. Sheila Gruchy also is currently exhibiting her work at Angry Adams. It is unique and well done with figures abstractly rendered by cutting paper and allowing another colored paper to show through. I am sure that I haven't explained it well enough, which is good, because you just might want to see it for yourself!

First Friday at Olde Towne Art

Tonight we will have poetry read beside the paintings that inspired them. Food, interesting people and fun are on the plate. Hopefully, the weather will hold and we will avoid more snow. I would be thrilled to see you there.
