I am looking forward to attending an all day painting/pastels plein air workshop by Dorothy Fagen on Friday. It will be a 2 hour drive with 3 other artist friends in which, I am sure, we will talk painting, drawing and art stuff all the way there, all the time there, and all the way home. Probably alot to take in and digest. Opportunities like this nourish my creativity like nothing else. I feel renewed and rejuvenated by just being around other creative types that understand and don't look at you like you are crazy for talking for 20 minutes about how much you like cerulean blue.
I just got a new French easel which I look forward to checking out and seeing how well I can pack up my stuff to take into the field. The weather is supposed to be better by Friday and I can't wait for this rain to leave and let the sun shine through. Hopefully, I will have some good stuff to post when I return.
In the meanwhile, I am working on Deb's commission and when I am finished, will post that as well.
